Archdiocese of Detroit
Detroit, MI
The Archdiocese of Detroit was facing hurdles of aging office buildings along with outdated technology systems. It was out of this need for modernization that VersAlta was born. We took charge of staffing top-talented technologists with a passion for the mission to bring the AOD into the 21st century.
VersAlta started as a single consultant with a passion for "strategic execution". Through system consolidation and elimination, VersAlta cut over $45,000/month in unnecessary IT system expenses, and refocused that toward a transition to a fully cloud-based ecosystem. As the Curia offices moved into a consolidated Chancery, VersAlta helped "reinvent" and upgrade into a modern space with unified communications, integrated wireless/security, and a web-based toolkit that delivered on the most commonly requested needs across AOD departments.
VersAlta currently staffs the Process, Data and Technology Department of the Archdiocese of Detroit, helping to ensure we manage all projects with portfolio and project management — ensuring that we are working on the highest priorities. We continue on our mission to help parishes, schools and the archdiocese move from maintenance to mission.
